I swear, everyone in the world rocked out to this one-hit wonder. What happened to Q-Feel? Nothing. Nothing at all. Hence the one-hit wonder label. Next time I make a music video I’m going to include ladies with big hair in the background waving sticks. It’s too cool. And the jump suits are out of control.

I loved this band.
Too bad At The Drive-in didn’t survive. I totally dug this album and song. It was out of this world gritty, but I totally dug it. Apparently they struggled live, like in this video, but their studio stuff was awesome. Enjoy.
One of the Silliest Movies. Yet Fun.
I remember watching this movie in Junior High and thinking it would be so cool to be a freestyle biker. I never was. I skateboarded and got pretty good at that, but freestyle biking was totally cool. Rad the Movie is to biking what Gleaming the Cube was to skateboarding back in the day. Praise heaven for Christian Slater for attempting to legitimize my old favorite sport.
Chuck is One of my Favorite Shows
Five episodes per week until the end of November….and I still have to wait until March for new episodes. At least I can watch these…
Homelessville
I love this video. I hate to admit it, but Justin Timberlake is totally funny…
John the Fisherman
This song absolutely changed my life in 10th Grade. I still love it. Have fun with the video.
I love Tron
Here it goes…I’m a total geek. I was only seven years old when Tron hit the big screens, but man, it completely changed my life. My love of computers, my love of technology, and my eventual entry in to the design field that I am in now all trace back to Tron. The graphics are STILL cool. Yeah, it could use some updating, and the new Tron Legacy next year looks like it will be fun, but this movie is a CLASSIC! Here’s the original trailer for your viewing pleasure.
I remembered how much I love this…
When I moved my blog over to the new site last week I remembered how much I LOVE Raiders of the Lost Ark. It’s just this fantastic story, beautifully filmed, and I love the opening of the movie.
“No time to argue, throw me the idol!” Me and my siblings used to say this to each other all the time, especially when we wanted something fast. It’s better if you try to do the accent of Alfred Molina.
People always talk about the big ball rolling behind Indy as he is running out of the cave, but my favorite part of this clip is the part where he is standing in front of the statue getting ready to replace the sand bag in his hand with the idol. The soundtrack, the lighting, and Harrison Ford’s face are just to magical…
Have fun with it. “You could warn them…if only you spoke Hovitos.”
Dr. Strangelove – Still Relevant
I have a lot of friends that are ultra-wildly-conservative. They also buy in to a lot of the hoopla about our president being a communist and his desiring to indoctrinate our children and take away our guns. My mother-in-law even bought a handgun after the election last year… her reasoning was that after the election we wouldn’t have the right to bear arms anymore.
In my adulthood, I am beginning to realize that I am pretty reasonable, pretty logical, and unable to believe these kinds of wild conspiracy theories. It reminds me of the film Dr. Strangelove. General Turgeson orders a nuclear attack against Russia because he believes that they are responsible for fluoridation, which he believes will dilute his precious bodily fluids and take over the world. Of course, that is the irony of the situation in the movie, among all of the other ironies. For me, it’s very amusing and a direct mirror for all of the wild conspiracies floating around right now.
So, here’s to you, Matt Brown who thinks our president is trying to become a dictator. Here’s to you, friends who are worried about whether the new Supreme Court justice is a woman or a Hispanic. Have fun in the world of fantasy and conspiracy. You’ll like this video.
Will Farrell as Bush
I am a conservative man, and this video is still stinking funny…
